1. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that attending Immerse at the Coasis involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: physical injury, death, property damage or loss, exposure to inclement weather, uneven and unpredictable terrain, proximity to bodies of water (including rivers and streams), exposure to fire and open flames, exposure to loud music and sound equipment, insect bites, wildlife encounters, and other hazards associated with outdoor activities on remote private property.

You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all risks of injury, illness, death, or property damage arising from your participation, whether or not caused by the negligence of the released parties.

2. Release of Liability

You hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the event organizers, property owners, staff, volunteers, performers, vendors, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and successors (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to your attendance or participation in the event, including claims arising from the negligence of the Released Parties.

3. Medical Consent

You consent to receive emergency medical treatment in the event of injury or illness during the event. You understand that the event takes place on remote private property, and that emergency medical services may be delayed or limited. You are responsible for carrying any personal medications and for disclosing relevant medical conditions to event staff if necessary.

4. Photography & Media Consent

You grant the event organizers permission to use your likeness, image, and voice captured in photographs, video recordings, or audio recordings taken during the event for promotional, educational, and archival purposes, without compensation.

5. Private Property Rules

The event takes place on private property. By attending, you agree to abide by the following rules:

• No sale of illegal substances
• No nitrous oxide (whippets)
• No weapons of any kind
• Swimming and wading in any body of water is at your own risk

Violation of these rules may result in immediate removal from the event and the property without refund.

6. Indemnification & Hold Harmless

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs) arising out of or related to your attendance or conduct at the event, including any claims brought by third parties.

7. Severability

If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

8. Minors Policy

Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during the event. The parent or legal guardian assumes all responsibility and liability for the minor, including all risks described in this waiver. By completing the RSVP on behalf of a minor, the parent or legal guardian certifies their guardianship and agrees to these terms on the minor’s behalf.

9. Governing Law

This waiver and any disputes arising from it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

10. Acknowledgment of Understanding

By checking the “Terms & Waiver” checkbox on the RSVP form, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms in their entirety, that you are voluntarily agreeing to them, and that you intend this agreement to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law. If you are signing on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are the minor’s parent or legal guardian.
